Europe’s largest production facility for electrolysers has officially started operations today in Brandenburg.
German steel producer SHS has secured €1.7 billion to build hydrogen-based production facilities that will cut carbon emissions by 55% by 2030—showing how heavy industry can decarbonize at scale while maintaining domestic manufacturing. The Power4Steel project converts 70% of capacity in one phase, positioning the Saarland-based group to become Europe's leading green steel producer.
Advent Technologies Holdings, Inc. announced that it will supply its Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA) technology to Stralis Aircraft (YC W23). The partnership will focus on integrating High-Temperature Proton Exchange Membrane (HT-PEM) fuel cells into Stralis' hydrogen-electric aircraft.
